How to Pack Your Kitchen

A kitchen is often one of the most difficult areas of the home to pack. This is not because it is difficult to pack the kitchen pots and pans and appliances but because you may need to use them right after you have finished packing them. It is a good idea to begin packing those kitchen utensils and appliances that you use the least. Once that is done and you are closer to moving day, pack most of your crockery, cutlery and cooking ware. Leave out the plates, glasses and cooking ware that you need on a daily basis.

Mark the cartons that you have used to pack your appliances and kitchen ware in and move them out of your way. Now you have a good idea of things that are left to be packed a day or two before moving day. It may be a good idea to order in your meals for the last few days and use plates and spoons that you can throw away. If that doesn’t suit you then keep a small carton that you can pack the last of your kitchen things the evening before moving day.
