Unfortunately, though many people feel prepared for these expenses, the hidden (or forgotten) costs often creep up and bite them in the end. To avoid this scenario, you'll need to do a bit of research to assess the true cost of your upcoming move.

Before you are sure your budget is complete, eyeball the following checklist to see if you've gotten everything:

Your Old House:

Your New House:
